Tiered packages support growth.
Figure out your differentiators, your strengths, and your funding alignment. This low-cost starting point helps you figure out if you’re ready to build your grant pipeline.
The ARCH Readiness Assessment is a 4-week diagnostic sprint that evaluates your funding readiness, identifies your strongest foundation prospects, and delivers a clear outreach strategy to begin building relationships with high‑fit funders.
What you get
A Grant Readiness Assessment across strategy, organization, evaluation data, governance, and internal processes
A Foundation Prospecting Sheet with up to 50 tailored foundation matches for your organization across key criteria, including mission alignment, geography, competitiveness, and size.
Message and Value Proposition Review, including two-pager review and drafting, if needed
An Outreach Strategy for prioritized funders, including outreach concepts, sequencing, contact information, strategy, and templates
Best for
Organizations that need clarity on where to start, which funders fit best, and how to begin outreach strategically. This is a low-cost entry point to understanding where you fit in the funding landscape.
Optional add-ons:
Federal Pipeline Development ($500). Do you know what a DUNS number is? A NAICS code? Do you have a UEI number? Are you registered in SAM.gov? If you’re interested in competing for, and winning, federal grants, then this add-on is your starting point. We’ll build you a pipeline of live and rolling opportunities that your organization can compete for, and win.
State, Local, and Education (SLED) Pipeline Development ($500). Focusing on where you operate, we’ll find you every opportunity, both live and rolling, that aligns with your organization’s strengths. This add-on covers one state, one county, and public schools in your area.
ARCH Readiness Analysis $2000
ARCH Growth System ($12,000 each month for four months)
You’ve completed the Readiness Analysis, and you’ve found aligned foundations and calls for proposals that you can win.
Congratulations! It’s time to build your development system. Unfortunately, you don’t have the funding to hire a Development Director.
Cadence will build out your grant development processes through our ARCH Growth System. The ARCH Growth System is a 12-week engagement designed to help your organization build a strong, repeatable engine for securing competitive funding, transforming funding insights into a fully operational grant acquisition engine.
Over the course of this engagement, we build out the internal systems, workflows, and tools your organization needs to pursue funding consistently and strategically.
Using the ARCH framework, we translate assessment findings into practical structures: a streamlined grant pipeline, tailored LOIs, positioning materials, internal coordination, analytic and proposal management processes, and reusable templates that make your team faster and more effective.
We will identify at least one high value grant opportunity and provide all the tools and writing necessary to submit a high quality grant, all while building your capacity to understand the information, processes, and writing skills necessary to win.
By the end of this engagement, you will have a clear set of operational systems, funder‑ready messaging, high‑quality LOI or concept notes at foundations, and the infrastructure and knowledge necessary to pursue grants as an ongoing, repeatable organizational function.
What you get
A fully constructed development system and core infrastructure that you need to pursue grants consistently, including a streamlined grant pipeline, internal workflows, coordination processes, and reusable templates that make you more effective.
Early‑stage funder engagement materials such as tailored LOIs (Letters of Inquiry) or concept notes for your highest‑priority funders identified during the Readiness Assessment, ensuring you begin outreach with compelling, well‑positioned materials.
High‑value identification, writing, and submission of at least one winnable grant opportunity aligned with your strategy, capacity, and funding readiness, along with building your team’s understanding of the process and improving internal writing skills.
Practical tools, templates, and processes, such as a grant pipeline, proposal calendar, review checklists, that strengthen your team’s ability to manage grant identification, writing, and submission going forward, making grant development a repeatable, sustainable function.
Best for
Organizations ready to compete for meaningful funding with a structured, repeatable system, not one‑off grant writing. The Growth System requires commitment to learn and adopt new practices.
Cadence Growth Partnership ($2,500 a month)
Building a grant system is the foundation, now you have to keep it moving. The Cadence Growth Partnership is a month-to-month retainer designed for organizations that have completed either the ARCH Readiness Analysis or ARCH Growth System. We perform all the grant development processes of a full-time development director, at a quarter of the price.
Each month, Cadence functions as your embedded development director: scanning for new opportunities, advancing proposals in the pipeline, managing funder relationships, and advising on reporting and compliance for awarded grants. We apply the same ARCH discipline and senior-level expertise that built your system to the ongoing work of running it.
What you get
Active Opportunity Tracker, updated weekly with new foundation, SLED, and federal prospects, deadline alerts, and pipeline status across all active opportunities
New Prospect Additions, including foundation scoring, mission alignment analysis, and recommended outreach approach
Rolling proposal development through LOIs, concept notes, full applications, and budget narratives advanced or submitted each month based on pipeline scope. Includes one proposal, up to $50,000, submitted monthly. Additional proposals at reduced fixed price costs.
Funder outreach support through customized relationship-building emails, follow-up sequences, pre-submission inquiries, and stewardship correspondence
Strategy calls covering pipeline review, priority decisions, funder relationship updates, and forward planning
Quarterly Progress Report summarizing wins, losses, pipeline health, prospecting summary, and strategic recommendations for the period ahead
Best for
Organizations that have either completed the ARCH Readiness Analysis or Growth System or already have a robust pipeline of grant opportunities, and now want sustained, senior-level development support without the overhead of a full-time hire. Recommended minimum engagement of 3 months for stable momentum. Cancel anytime with 30 days’ notice.
Sometimes you need a strong, well written grant, rather than a full system or multi-month engagement. You have a funder in front of you, a deadline approaching, and a compelling program to fund. Cadence will write it.
With over 20 years of grant writing experience across foundation, federal, and bilateral funders, and more than $400 million secured, Cadence brings senior-level writing expertise to every engagement, regardless of scope. We write to your funder’s priorities, voice, and review criteria and we don’t use AI to write grants.
